A Good Weekend

This weekend was filled with lots of fun. Friday night Keith, Kinsley and I had dinner is in the Square. Kinsley got to walk around San Marco, which she loved. Saturday Kinsley and I went to the beach. She picked up shells and played with the sand. We also did a lot of shopping, including some of our Halloween decorations which we started setting up later that day. Kinsley liked playing with the squeaking rats. In a few years those will probably scare her.

Sunday we had lots of play time. Daddy had to work, so we meet him for lunch. When he came home we had a "picnic in the park". I made some really yummy smoothies (which Kinsley couldn't get enough of) and we all walked to the park near our house. Kinsley enjoyed hanging out with daddy on the playground and maverick enjoyed being our watch dog.

YUMMY SMOOTHIE RECIPE:

1 banana
3-5 strawberries
a handful of blueberries
1 orange
a handful of spinach
vanilla protein powder (optional)
a little hint of honey or nectar
a dash of milk
a few ice cubs

(you can tell I don't really measure)

1st Piggy Bank

Today Kinsley got her first piggy bank.

Keith and I had some change hidden away that we never use, so I let Kinsley take as much of it as she wanted to start her savings. She naturally took all the quarters, dimes and nickles. She sprinkled a few penny's so she wouldn't look too greedy. Now every time her piggy bank gets full, we will go to the bank and deposit it into her own savings account. She is only 1 years old and already a smart saver!
