Kinsley has been eating some solid food at home...just a little fruit and veggies here and there. Today she officially started eating "table food". On the menu today was turkey, broccoli, cauliflower, bread and apple sauce. After that she had her milk in a sippy cup. It was great to have lunch with my little munchkin and to see how fast she is growing up. She ate all her food like a big girl, and laughed the whole time!

My Two Front Teeth
Kinsley has two teeth coming in at the same time. She sometime shows a little discomfort, but for the most part she act's like nothing is bothering her. Her new teeth definitely add a little shine to that already bright smile.

RED WHITE AND BLUE
Happy Memorial Day!
We celebrated Memorial Day on Sunday. We spent the day at Keith's parents house cooking out and swimming in the pool. It was a great day of relaxing and soaking up the sun. It was also great to watch Kinsley and my nephew Kaleb play together. Kinsley is infatuated with him. We came home after dinner and took Maverick on a nice long walk and had some cookies for desert. The rest of the night was spent laughing with Kinsley who kept trying to bite my face.
The Best 2 Years!
Today Keith and I celebrate 2 years of marriage. Without being to cheesy, I can truly say it has been the best 2 years. Many great things have happened in the last 2 years, but the greatest one of all was Kinsley being born. She is the greatest gift we could of given each other. I am looking forward to growing old with my best friend and creating a life time of memories.

Sharp One
Sunday - no sign of teeth.
Monday - a sharp one popped out.
I run my finger along Kinsley's gums every now and then. Monday, when I ran my fingers on her gum I felt a sharp edge. Kinsley has her first tooth popping out. This morning I felt it again, and it is sticking out just a little further. 9 months old, and she finally got her first tooth!

A Scare
Today we had a minor scare. Our sliding closet door fell off it's hinges and onto Kinsley. It mostly hit her hand and cut two fingers open. She bumped her head and eye, and has a few bruises. I freaked out at first because there was so much blood that I couldn't tell where it was coming from. I finally calmed down enough to wipe her down with a cloth which made it more visible that she was only bleeding from her two fingers. Keith's parents came over to help me, which really calmed me down. Keith ended up coming home from work, and we took Kinsley to the hospital just to make sure she didn't need stitches and that nothing else was hurt. We got lucky, and only ended up wrapping her hand with gauze and tape. Her fingers are pretty swollen, but should be fine in a couple days. She is still the happiest baby regardless of the scare. I think mommy freaked out more than she did.

Big Girl, Big Tub
Kinsley is now officially bathing in a big girl tub. Tonight was her first night bathing without the infant tub, and she loved it. She has more room to move around and play with her toys.

Moving
Keith and I accepted a counter offer on a house. Let's keep our fingers crossed, and we should be in our new home mid-June.
