Kinsley feeding Funny Bunny Milk

Water slide play day

Kinsley normally plays with the neighbors in one of our four yards. The other day one of them had a blow up water slide that the kids absolutely loved. This was Kinsley's first time and with the help of one of the older girls, she managed to make it up... and down in one piece. After the first time there was no stopping her and she wanted to go again and again.

It's officially began!

Wednesday they officially started building the addition! It's going to be a long but exciting few months. I can't wait for it to be done!

A week of firsts!

  • Kinsley said "I hear airplane" instead of "I see airplane". I am trying to teach her the difference between hearing something and seeing something and today was the first time she said it right.

  • This week she had her first shower.

  • Her first piece of bacon was this morning...which she loved (just like her mommy) and she asked for more.

  • She has just starting figuring out when Keith or I are at work. When we sat down for dinner the other night and Keith was at work, Kinsley said "daddy at work". Apparently she did the same with Keith when I was at work on Friday.

  • She climbed in the bed at nap time and said "night night" and actually went to sleep... twice now! Keith or I didn't even have to ask!

  • I asked Kinsley to find my car in the parking lot and she did. I now owe her $5.00.

  • If I am leaving the room for a second, I always tell Kinsley that I will be right back so she doesn't follow me everywhere. All this week Kinsley will leave the room to grab something and she says "be right back" and motions for you to stay.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Unfortunately Keith had to work on Father's Day, but as one of his gifts Kinsley and I made these silly jars. Kinsley probably enjoyed playing with the more than anything.

PS. that mark on her face is from coloring! She colors more on herself than on the paper.

Birthday party!

It was one of our neighbors birthday last week and there was a little party in the back yard for her. All the little girls on our street got together for some water play which was perfect for a hot summer day!

Kinsley sat by the Gold Fish bowl for most of the time. She kept eating all her Gold Fish and then she would take the other kids. LOL.

Eating all the raisins...

I was making tuna salad for lunch on day and Kinsley decided she was going to eat all the raisins before I even started the tuna. Every time I would add more raisins she would eat them all. Finally I just made her a separate bowl so she would stay out of mine.
